My work is the culmination of years of studio painting enhanced with the aid of computer visualization. I am a painter who has transformed his pictorial   compositions onto an altogether different two-dimensional plane: the computer screen. By interfacing with the computer screen, I produce combinations of photographic montage and finished   drawings with the ease of a single process. digital   media enables me to explore   new uses for my images accessible   through several computer programs.

I employ techniques that simulate watercolor blending effects by reconstructing images in a pixel by pixel formation that underlies all computer art. Thus I am extending   my imagination over a shorter time span and enabling   myself   to explore   more possibilities   for pictorial   inventions.Through this process, I create   narratives   that combine   the atmosphere   of Surrealist dreamscapes with concrete   images   from my community   where I live and work. These   narratives are stories within   stories. They   become   accessible   to the viewer by including the street and People of the Community. A Community   resonating in earthly-bound themes of Love, Desire, Loss, Beauty and Humor.
